It's by definition deep dish and takes at least 45 minutes to cook. I always thought Giordanos was amazing, and then I really liked Gino's East but then my brother took us to Lou Malati's and I was blown away. Best ever. If you ever go to Chicago you have to go there. My kids love water. I don't know what the one in Fort Worth is like but the one in Chicago is amazing. One of my favourite stories growing up was The Magic Faraway Tree.  Nine teachers are new at this site and the school is very old, but there was lots of positive energy.We bought a Prius two days ago.On receipt of their copy I was pretty shocked at a few of the observations the teacher had noted, which went against what I had noted here at home. And the one that stood out for me was that it was 'somewhat true' that Lucy was being bullied or picked on. Imagine it! I decided she didn't need to know about cholera at the age of four. In fact I'll admit to still occasionally daydreaming about it now!  My Mom can still surprise me. I do worry about my health now in that respect, and add up the units per week thinking 'this can't be good?'. I can appreciate the appeal of Maisy, but I just don't understand how a mumbling incoherent mouse could garner such a following. And Barbie's mass appeal isNike Dunk Sb Shoes quite disturbing too, though surprisingly her stories are adventure-based and not entirely narcissistic like I thought they'd be.I've never really gotten into animated movies (different from cartoons), but when I watched Spirited Away recently I was smitten. We left on Wednesday to go to Kotlik.  I arrived home by about midnight.   Kotlik is by far the friendliest village in LYSD that I've ever been to- the custodians at the school made sure we were comfortable with everything we needed.The agent came to pick us up in his little covered cart.We were treated royally and presented all day at the inservice on Monday. The ice on the streets of Anchorage made getting around very difficult.   We gave it a homegrown tune-up, replacing the distributor cap and wires, spark plugs, alternator belt, air filter, PCV valve and rotor and now it works fine.  I also had the oil changed and cleaned off the battery connections since I was in there anyway.  For $220, we fixed it ourselves.  Works like a charm.  It's famous for Molly Hootch (who won the lawsuit to have village high schools), Walkie Charlies (a teacher buddy who just got his Ph.d here) and John Lamont, the superintendent of LYSD. Nike Dunk Sb Shoes  It was hard to say goodbye to our new Kotlik friends, but we had convoluted connections to get home.   We spent one night with Raphia and Brook, enjoying laughs and pasta with Moana and Virgenia as well.  Len walked with us along the new boardwalk to the store where we bought juice and ice cream to donate to the dinner.    
  Just hope I don't do too much damage with a week of vacation but luckily I will have mom there with me to keep me on track!I should have KNOWN it was going to be one of those days after leaving my cell phone in Z's room from a 4am sheet changing (I use it as a flashlight so I don't have to turn the light on), my wake up call being Zachary bringing me said blaring cell phone (it's my alarm) and then proceeding to step in cat barf as I was getting dressed (thanks max!)! I am thankful to my parents who watched the boys ALL WEEKEND and survived (although I don't think they will be beating down my door to babysit that long anytime again soon!).Well, it's my birthday too (on Sunday that is...taken me 3 days to finish the darn post...ahem)heehee!  Having a summer birthday does have SOME advantages once you are past the 16, 18 and 21 milestones! Nike Dunk Sb Shoes shared a post on her blog this week by Pretty in Orange.  I have never read Angela's blog before but I enjoyed reading the post and some of her thoughts on getting older.Back in the saddle again....On a workout aside....I ran 2.7miles tonight in 30 minutes.  It is by far the best run I have had yet.  It may sound silly but I think I..I think I heard angels singing as I walked the aisle in a NON-CAR cart NOT running over people, picking up and reading labels, etc...good times people, good times)  I have never been too bothered by age.  Perhaps because I am younger than most of my friends.    This year we will have a trophy for the chooser of the winning film.I reckon the pants, jersey and hat were sewn in under 15 minutes (I free-cut the patterns). Audrey was very happy with the outfit, but she drew the line at the pom-pom hat, which I personally thought was quite dashing. Audrey has taken to this small plastic doll my sister's grandmother-in-law once owned, and I decided it really needed something warm this Winter after seeing her carrying it round stark naked the past few days.I came home today from my 45 minutes realizing that I jogged more than I walked...and I didn't die!  I am glad to have a new phone, but I didn't realize how much STUFF I had on my phone and how much I relied on the stupid thing. Today I was on the quest for a new chicken recipe. (ahhhh...Something I surely couldn't have done before.

I put it on and listened to it all the way through. Then I played it again. And again and again. Endtroducing… transported me.

I think we are going to be okay.  Shauna said that she planned to be his coach for the new few weeks as he got more comfortable and that she was surprised how good he actually was in the water!  Maybe next week we will have no crying at all! (too much to ask for??) :)All in all, leaps and bounds better than last week.     . I made a claim yesterday and it was on my doorstep today.  Now that's service!   Matt could see a lot more since he was in the viewing room, but once Z got over the 5 minutes of crying....he relaxed and had FUN!  By the end, he was hugging coach Shauna and high fiveing and smiling.  WHEW.  I will make up for it later.  Not bad for pizza and it was very tasty too!  I made a salad and had 2 slices of pizza...and still a few points to spare for the day!  yay!  So don't be afraid of pizza...just plan it out first!Sigh. Lucy's favourite is the blue two-storey house.   And since I am not just "dieting" this time and really wanting to make a lifestyle change, I have to learn to get through weeks like this.  I decided to reside in a smaller, quaint house and informed Lucy of my choice. She turned to me and shot me the saddest look, telling me she'd like us to live together. And so I packed my bags and moved down the lane...Brendan and I share a Zoom 288, and it's such a good ride because of the larger foot platform and wheels. I didn't think much about scooting before I test-rode this but one quick round-the-shop jaunt and I was won over. For communities surrounded by water, it's easy to forget how precious, and finite, it is. There are some short, interesting videos here. It's a habit really (though I do believe brandy and Winter just go together so well). I also noticed someone named 'butt pirate' decided to reuse his (or her) waterbottle, and 'dickhead' decided to tell more people about water conservation.
